After a skydiving mishap kills computer expert Madeline Geiger’s husband and seriously injures her, Madeline is approached by an FBI agent who suggests the tragedy wasn’t an accident. He says her husband was close to blowing the whistle on a colleague for providing encryption software to a dark web criminal organization and asks for Madeline’s help finishing the job. The second in the series, The Fourth Woman, is already waiting in the wings.
